GARDNER, KS The City of Gardner is excited to welcome a second brewery to town in less than two years. Transport Brewery, with its original location in Shawnee, plans to open a 5,000/sq ft facility & patio in the historic downtown in the first half of 2022, joining ExBEERiment Brewing in serving local craft beer in Southwest Johnson County. The community is also excited to host the 2022 KC AirShow at New Century AirCenter on Labor Day weekend, September 3-4, 2022. This year’s air show is headlined by the USAF Thunderbirds and will once again feature a stellar lineup of military and civilian performers, following up the successful 2021 show with almost 50,000 people in attendance.
