Bonner Springs, KS – Cedar Ridge Golf Course This public, 18-hole disc golf course is located at North Park. This course is open to the public year-round and is described as a very technical, heavily wooded course. Disc golf fans note that the park is by far the most beautiful course in the area. Gardner, KS – Celebration Park & Sports Complex This 83-acre community park has something for everyone. Enjoy the walking trail, 10-acre lake, or expansive playground. The park also features baseball fields, soccer fields and large open areas for a variety of activities. Take in the beautiful views while enjoying the native plants and wildlife. Kansas City, KS – Rosedale Memorial Arch The Rosedale Memorial Arch has been an icon in the community for 100 years. The memorial sits high on a hill within Mount Marty Park, overlooking the downtown Kansas City skyline. Inspired by the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, the Arch was designed by Rosedale resident John LeRoy Marshall. It was completed in 1924, and dedicated to the veterans of World War I. Also, within Mount Marty Park you will find a trailhead that leads to the Rozarks Nature Trails, a 4.5-mile wooded trails system meant for hiking, biking and outdoor exploration. https://www.wycokck.org/Departments/Parks-and-Recreation

Kansas City, MO – Lakeside Nature Center and Swope Park One of Missouri’s largest wildlife rehabilitation facilities, Lakeside Nature Center is home to about 60 animals including bald eagles, reptiles, fish and more. Visitors can enjoy a nature story time, get an up-close look at wildlife, or join a special event. Leavenworth, KS – Historic Wayside Tour

Lenexa, KS – Rolling Magic Skate Park The name of the park is a tribute to a skate park of the same name that was built at 95th Street and I-35 in Lenexa in the late 1970s. The original Rolling Magic was a state-of-the art facility with a large bowl, snake runs, keyholes, a two-level dome with an arcade, soda bar and pro shop. The original park is no longer around, but the magic is alive again at the new Rolling Magic Skate Park in Lenexa! https://bit.ly/43xGZum

Liberty, Mo – City Park Inclusive Playground & Sprayground Liberty's City Park is full of so many opportunities for kids to learn, play and socialize. This park was specially designed for children of all ages and all abilities. It features wheelchair accessible amenities, a variety of sensory elements, play equipment for perfect for both our little and big kids, and more! From the bustling heart of downtown Merriam to the tranquil wooded wonders, this nearly 4-mile paved trail beckons adventurers of all ages. Discover hidden pockets of greenery, glimpses of local wildlife, and buzzing pollinator gardens. Meander through charming pocket parks, or sit and take in the beauty of the creek from several viewpoints along the way. For over 40 years, local vendors have been providing farm-to-table food at the Downtown Overland Park Farmers’ Market.
